Duncan is voiced by Drew Nelson who also voices Matt in Death note, therefore it begs for a crossover.

Matt is Mello's best friend, Duncan says the word 'Mellow'. Lulz are had because he sounds like Matt.

 

Oh! I get it now! I thought it was Matt saying mellow over and over, that's why it seemed stupid. But not anymore. Thank you for clearing that up! ^_^
