Death Note Fad 2.0?

So has Death Note become a fad again? It seems so to me.

 

Yea, pretty much. I guess it's because the dub's basically done now.

 

Hopefully the threads will die down. It is a good anime and manga, but it gets annoying when you keep seeing threads about it everywhere.

 

That goes for everything,bad OR good.

Since everyone is talking about TWEWY,I thought I'd buy it sometime,but the whole name change obsession really kills the experience for me..maybe if I buy it I'd understand,but still..

 

No wonder I hate Death Note! I HATE FADS! DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! *to the Fad shelter and AWAY!*

I'm not different different, I'm like weird different. But in a good way. I'm never one to follow fads and stuff, and I'm way different from anyone at my school, but thats why my friends like me xD

i really like death note. i liked it about a month before i even heard of the english dub. we saw it in our anime club. so i liked it before it was this big thing.

 

Okay, see, that's bullshit.
It's okay to not like something, but to not like something becase it's widly known? What the hell.
I mean, there are some exceptions, but Death Note is an amazing anime with a really good story and plot, which is the best I've ever seen. And I said that before I even watched it.
It's not even a fad. It just has increased popularity that, for whatever reason, has picked up in the forums lately.

I'm different too! It's what makes people like me... but dude, neglecting great things because you're TRYING to be different? That's just... stupid. Being different loses it's meaning if you try to not like something. It's making yourself into something you aren't. If you aren't naturally different, then you're just living a lie trying to be.
