Deal or No Deal

so I've been wanting a MacBook Pro for a while.
Before my mom said that if i want it then I'll have to pay it for myself.
I've raised up to 600 dollars, and she said that she'll pay for the rest but I have to pay her back.
Off the bat, I feel bad because I don't want her to pay soo much. So she made me a deal that she'll take my 300 dollars for christmas and put that towards the laptop.

Good deal or should I wait till a raised a bit more money? LOL it's gonna be hard for me to pay her back... tons of work labour at Subway making sammichs D:​

I don't know, I don't think Macs are that great, but you have your own opinion. I say wait, see if in a couple weeks or a month you still want it.

 

i'm a bit slow on this, but if it's a laptop go ahead. but Macs are not good for home computers. Macs are for Laptops, Work/offices, and schools. and my school is switching to Windows 7 computers.

Meh, do you really need a laptop right now?

They're really not that useful if your still at home and in HS. I'd save it for when you're getting ready for college.

 

Well considering what a joke senior year in HS is, having a Mac might be a nice idea; you can do a lot of fab stuff on there, and if you're looking for a new laptop anyway, why not look into getting a Mac?

IMO, Macs are great computers but are incredibly overpriced. You could buy a solid Windows computer for much less and still have a lot of the same specs as the Mac.

As for the price deal, depends, what Macbook Pro are you getting? The $1200 one?

This times a hundred. As a rule of thumb, Macs are not better; just different. And weird. And fucking pricey.
