Despite what they say, I still think it's a '****, we don't have enough players' strategy. I just started my subscription back up the day Fight for the Light became available (I didn't even know about it until I saw some GLs ha). If I keep playing, I'm sticking to Legendary.
Of course that's what it is. When an MMO goes free to play, it's usually one of two reasons. Either they need more players because activity has taken to huge drop, or that they've made so much money off of it, they just decided to take their chips and walk away. Usually it's the first one, because most MMOs aren't highly active for long term. I know I'll play for a little while, even thought it really isn't my kind of game. But who am I to turn down a free game?
i was always interested in this game but i never play games where there is a monthly subscription. i will definitely give this a shot now.
