I got a Dazzle DVC100, and it came with a software disc that had some kind of Pinnacle recording program on it. I use this to record TV output, y'know, for games. But apparently I can't use the Dazzle without this program, and I don't have the disc--either I lost it, or I left it at school. When I go to Pinnacle's website to look for a download of it, all I see are device drivers, which doesn't really help when I need the program they're for. Anybody know how to get the recording software without buying another Dazzle? Are there any free, alternative programs that work with this thing?

Worst comes to worst you can just pirate the software. In this situation it's legal as you did pay for it, you simply lost the disk.

Also, how do you like the Dazzle? Is the quality good? I've been considering getting one.

Yeah, I was gonna pirate it, but... I can't even find a pirated version. :[ S'why I asked if there was any other software that worked with it, it'd probably be easier to find.

And I like it. The only trouble is the AV cables don't stay in it very well, so I have to be careful or I'll suddenly lose audio or something, and the program has this problem where it'll freeze a lot when you try to store several recordings in the same folder. The video/sound quality's good, but occasionally when I look at the videos in WMP it seems like the video slows down, then skips ahead a bit to catch up with the audio. I think that's just an MP bug though, because it doesn't do that when I preview it in Sony Vegas. Oh yeah, and I need a converter for the file if I want to edit the video at all, but that's a minor inconvenience. I dunno, it's got some kinks, but it's functional. If you've got money to spare, it's not the kind of thing to splurge on.
