Days at Destiny

Alrighty folks, it's time for this rp to finally be under way! I'm going to put the setting of the story up now, but before I do that, I want to lay out the ground rules once more.

1: There is a three sentence limit, no less than that each post. The ONLY exception to this is if you are having a back to back convo with a single person, and even then you should be able to hit that by typing out how the person is feeling during the conversation. Be expressive and descriptive. This limit may get upped once everyone is more used to writing more literatively.

2: No Spam outside of OOC's, and they must be included in a conversation. You cannot post just an OOC, and no dialogue or character progression. If you need to say something to someone, then use a pm, thats what they are for.

3: Keep it in character. Some character's are not going to get along with others, thats just the way of life. You can use an event to bring these characters closer, but don't force it. Develop your character, don't start with them developed.

4: Remember the warning system. If I feel you are not being literative enough, you will be warned. An OOC without developing the story will result in an immediate warning. I will try to be lenient about this, but I will enforce it. Please don't make me have to be the bad guy. It's a three strikes your out rule, so keep that in mind.

5: For the sake of simpliscity, EVERYONE is the same age. This is an alternate universe, not the KH we know and love. You don't have powers, you are just average students.

6: HAVE FUN! This is the most important one. If you all don't have fun, then there is no point in doing this! PM me with suggestions at any time, I'll always be happy to hear them.

The bell rang for the last time of the school year and shouts could be heard coming from all throughout the school. Summer was here at last! It had been a long and arduous year at Destiny High, but it was finally over. Kids escaped from the confines of their closed off classrooms, and into the fresh ocean breeze, the sunlight warming their underused muscles and bones.

Our tale begins with a few of these children. Certain ones, and others that would become important later. They left the school in all directions, none of them knowing each other aside from a select few. They were members of their own groups, their own cliques, each one with different plans, different ideas for how their summer would play out.

This would be a summer of change, a summer that would shape who they would become for the remainder of their lives. Senior year was over, and this would be their last hurrah before college, and seperating from one another. One last summer to get everything out...One last summer of Destiny...

 

Riku takes in the afternoon sun as other estatic students rush past, getting a head start on their summer plans. One last summer. Then we all go our separate ways... He walks away from the almost deserted school, with just one destination in mind. The island. Sora and Kairi will go there, no doubt. That's where we'll make our last summer count.

 

Ashley walked out side of the high school, smiling. He was overjoyed to finally be able to walk out of that recked place one last time, get on with his life, you know? He didn't enjoy the school that much, because of the other's disliking him. He hoped later on he wouldn't be pushed around anymore. Because of his great succsess in school he already had a collage degree and he loved that idea. Studing paid off didn't it? He always told himself.

Ashley held his books to his chest and watch as the rich students gave him snoody looks. Another reason he wasn't loved was because he was bi, desprate for finding love. He wasn't much of a geek, more of a dreamer so he didn't know what was with that.

He sighed waiting for someone to notice the lonely readhead standing of to the side, sadly, hoping one day, to live life at its fullest.

 

"FINALLY!" Kairi exhaled, collapsing on the ground outside. "That last hour was just murder!" Kairi shook her fists in excitement at the prospect of one last summer. I'm going to make this one count. She thought to herself. Exhaling, she picked herself off the ground. Looking to her right, she saw Ashley standing there. What a strange guy... she thought, before dashing off in search of Sora and Riku.

 

Ashley smiled at Kairi as he saw her come out of the school. Curious of what she was doing, he followed her path. 'I wonder what shes doing...' He thought, and felt like a stalker.

 

Kairi felt someone's eyes on her back as she walked down the path to the beach. Who the heck is following me? She though to herself, not wanting to turn around. I don't want to be going crazy though... Looking in a store mirror as she passed by, she spotted Ashley sloce behind her. "Can I help you?" Kairi said turning around and putting her hands on her hips.

 

"Alright!!" Sora said with excitemant. "Man I didn't think I would made it out there alive, school is just too much but at least its over." He started to walking away from the school and said outloud, "See Ya!"

 

Riku hears Sora say "See ya." He sees spiky hair and walks up behind him. "You aren't saying see ya to me, are ya Sora?" he says with a smile. You're such a goof, Sora.

 

Umi ran straight to the shore. "Geez, that substitute sure was tough!" He put the backpack on the sand and jumped straight into the ocean water. The young boy swam directly to the islands, where they all play every summer. "I hope they're there already, I'm just itching to have some fun!" Umi reaches the islands and raids the stash of wooden weapons he made in woodshop. "Lets see, shield....... staff........... here we go! My sword!" The young lad grabbed his sword and headed out to the small island Riku usually trains on.

 

"Of course I'm not saying that to you." Sora laughed at he walked next Riku. "So what are going to do now?" he asked.

 

"I was thinking of going to the island. We've had so much fun there every summer and I thought, why should this summer be any different?" A voice in the back of Riku's head echoes, You're lying. He lets the thought go. "We should find Kairi. She would want to go."

 

"Well if we want to go to the island of course we need Kairi, where is she though?" Sora wondered and continued to walk. "I hate it when I get a bad feeling..." he said while scratching his stomach.

 

"No..." Ashley said as he looked up to the sky. "I was just curious to where you were going is all. Aperson like me never goes anywhere. May I ask, What is your name?" The redhead smiled at her, in a strange way.

 

"The names Kairi." she replied, still feeling defensive. "And its rude to follow someone without letting them know, and scary. Your Ashley though right? I've heard about you before at school. Your the "weird redhead", right?" Kairi made quotes with her fingers when she said weird redhead, emphasizing the point.

 

"I don't know what you mean about 'weird', but yeah, thats me."Ashley scratched the back of his and then circled around Kairi once. "Hmm... Oh I've heard about you, too. Your going out with that Sora, am I correct?" He said and tilted his head.

 

"No!" Kairi said blushing. "We aren't, so why does everyone keep spreading those rumors?" Kairi said, tapping her foot on the ground. "We're just really good friend's ok? Him and Riku are probably looking for me." I hope. she added to herself.

 

Riku spots Kairi at a distance. A redhead boy is talking to her. "Hey, Sora. Isn't that that Ashley guy? Why do you think Kairi's talking to him?" He isn't sure if he should be jealous or confused.

 

Ienzo walks out of the school. He saw a boy talking to a girl, and two boys talking to each other. Ienzo didnt' really care though, because he was too interested in his book. He walked right by the two groups after a long day at school.

OOC: I might have done something wrong, mind telling me if I did??

 

Umi begins to rummage into the bushes. "There's gotta be some mushrooms." He gets out a bottle. "Eh, might as well get a little drink." Umi goes to the waterfall, fills the glass bottle, and takes a sip. "Hmm, delicious and nuticious as always!"

 

He smiled at her and giggled a bit. "You like him, don't you?" Ashley sighed and shook his head. "It always starts by being friends."
