Days at Destiny (Sign ups)

Welcome one and all to the introductory thread for the next great RP! I've been playing in a few Rp's, and I wanted to start my own, but I wanted to go in a new direction than the ones that I have been playing in. I want to take a spin more akin to that seen in It's a beautiful Day, The organization rp, in that I want it to be more literative. Three characters have already been taken: Kairi Sora and Riku. I have already requested the help of a few people who are rping as those characters (and I am Kairi.)

The story is that the events of KH never happend. Life on Destiny Island has gone on as usual. That means Sora and Riku don't have Keyblades, and there aren't any nobodies. I have given thought to those of you who would like to be the Org. members, however. The org members will have to give what their Anagram spells out, and then they can role play as those characters true selves. Ex: Xemnas would go by Ansem. However, I'm not letting Ansem be in it, as there would be to many questions as to who he was.

Characters have no powers, this is a real-life rp. No powers, no anything. Straight character development. I will at times intereject events that will change the scape of the rp. I will contact the players who will be involved and have them work it in with me. Let's say that sora fails a test and gets grounded. I will contact Sora and have him explain this to his friend's and then we have to communicate to him in another way.

I will have a three sentence minimum rule on all things except conversations between two people. When you are having a conversation, it is ok to just have single sentences, though I encourage to write more, such as the characters emotions, how they move, etcetera. I'm encouraging a lot of wording, and slow development. I don't want there to be twenty pages of posting in one night, but enough text to fill twice that much. Also, I am begging all those who participate to please use proper punctuation and grammar. If I feel that you are not putting forth enough effort in this category, I will pm you, asking you to redit some of your posts, or to drop ou of the rp. I want this to work, but I want it to be good. As such, I will take an active role in its development. If you do not meet the three sentence requirement in a place where I do not feel you had no excuse not to, I will give you a warning. After another few incients, I will warn you again. Third time is me asking you to drop from the rp, and I will write in why it happened.

Aside from that go crazy. I would love to see some created characters. I consider the Org. XIII others to be created, because you are establishing a new personality for them. Just remember, they are not going to be exactly like there nobody. Look to Sora and Roxas for an example.

Also, a picture of your character would be nice. And remember the rule on the Org. members! Laters!

Also, something I forgot to mention. You can sign up here without submitting a story right away, but unless you submit a story I will not consider you for the role. Using this role, multiple people can apply for the same part until I have chosen a person. So if you see someone has submitted a post for Selphie, but you want to be Selphie, and I still haven't confirmed her yet, submit a thread, and I will hold off judgement until I have read both of your stoies. :D

SoraX, Riku has already been taken. If you read the full first psot, the three main character's are already gone. If you want, you can be the true form of a nobody, or make your own character. Also, Tidus, Wakka, Cloud, Leon etc are all still also up for grabs. Just remember that you have to submit a story before I approve you, and it has to meet my requirements.
Speaking of reqirements, I do not want to offend anyone bif they are not selected. Even if I don't select you for the story, do not think it means I do not like you. I'm trying to get people who have a literary flair about them, so that this story is very focused on story and character, and also that the people will post quite a bit of dialogue and explanations. If you aren't selected, don't take it personally! That is what I am asking. Also, remember for the short story it needs to be a minimum of 1 page long, but I'll let it be double spaced if you send it through an email on microsoft word/works.

All righty folks, I have reedited the first post, because no one seemed to be wanting to write a story for an entry ^^;; Rather than excluding people from the get go, I have developed a point system, kind of the three strikes your out rule. The minimum for posting is set at three sentences, and I will also be checking for correct grammar and punctuation. If it is a few misspellings here and there, no big deal. For each post you are allowed up to two mistakes on your grammar or spelling or punctuation, a rule that Rufus gave me. I will keep a tally system of my own, and if nothing happens after five posts, then I will remove a point from your overall score. So its a point system. Every two points gets you a warning, and the sixth is a dismissal from the rp. Hopefully I won't have to worry about this, and people will just post in the rp as though it were very literative. Please, sign ups are now open to everyone, and anyone can join. The first post contains characters that are already taken, and it is a first come first serve basis. Hopefully this will generate more people. We should be starting either tonight or tommorow if we get more people, and maybe even if we don't. Just remember that occasionally I will change the scope of the rp with different events that will force you all to respond to it. Response under pressure generates a lot of interesting tales, so hopefully you will all enjoy this feature. Well, I've rambled on long enough, here's to more people posting.
Oh, and one last thing, Sorax, if your going to be in it, you need to submit a different character template. Same for you Hikki_Kairi. I have thought about it, and I'm sorry, but no Roxas or Namine. If I'm forcing the other org. members to be their others, it isn't fair to allow a nobody to be there. Sorry. Final Fantasy characters and original characters are up for grabs though.
