Hey look guys! Guess what influenced this! *ahem* copyright Misty of kh-vids.net 2012... Anyway, I really like the art style of The World End with You (never played it though...) and I plan on furthering it this year so I made this in like an hour so it's not great but I was too lazy to change it. This isn't supposed to the the exact same style as the banner or TWEWY but it is based on them both :3 It is in for the 50th anniversary of Doctor who... funnily enough CnC and whatnot (also... the background is made up of THE SEAL OF RASSILON!)
I didn't even know those were Seals of Rassilon. Such great attention to detail there, Nubé. But seriously, I do adore this style. His chin bugs me just a bit -- it might be too pointy -- but everything else on him looks pretty damn good. My only other comment would be on the "Save the Day" text. The right seems a bit too bright, and I don't know if it was intentional or if it looks that way because of the gradient on the background, but it looks really blurred imo. Still, this is a mighty fine piece and I commend you for taking the initiative to commemorate so glorious an occasion.
Simple, yet effective. I like it. The outline is really good, I think you've captured the shape of him quite well, you should be proud of what you've done here for sure. I'm not even really a fan of Doctor Who but yeah, this artwork is refreshingly different from a lot of other pics I've seen made for it. I agree with the text being maybe a little too bright, it makes it kind of hard to see with the writing style aswell, but at the same time I think it simply wouldn't look as good if it were anything different.
