Kingdom Hearts II Darkness in Sora

It seemed to me that Sora was slightly, not by much, but slightly a bit Darker than he was in the first Kingdom Hearts. He seemed to be a little for angry than he was before, like what he said after he beat Dymex, when he was dissing on Xigbar, and other times as well.

 

I certainly think he was a little darker. He also was a little more mature in the second game. I liked him in both games though. I like him as a happy go lucky kid that is always optimistic, and a more mature kid that shows a little bit of anger and can kick some butt. I think Sora is cool either way. But I do think at times he was a little darker in the second game than in the first.

 

He was a bit darker,but he was also the same optimistic person. I think it was just because he was older or something.

 

i dont really think so...hes only made smart-ass comments about saix, xigbar, other things but i wouldnt say that hes a darker character. The worst hes ever said is "YOU ROTTEN-!" but stops...even then i wouldnt say hes dark...
In kh1, because hes more immature, he has a lot more jealousy of riku, and he actually calls riku stupid when he finds out that riku uses the darkness.

 

not really... he was the smae as ever in the 2nd game like b4... but obviously a lil bit more mature.. and that maturity brings in a little bit of darkness.. thats what it was.. so he was just a tad bit darker...

 

I think the explanation for that, was when Roxas joined with Sora. Roxas was an Organization 13 member who did a lot of mean stuff probably.

Also because of his past adventures with Xehanorts heartless, all of the worlds needing saving and help.

I would be pissed off too if I had to do all of that :P

I prefered the original Sora. They tried to add depth, but really did not do much.

He was stupider in this game. I liked him in the old one. He was a true denizen of light. In the second game he became a whiney brat.

Yeah he is somewhat darker but still he is waaaaaaaay to happy :\

 

I'd say he was much more arrogant rather then darker. How he spoke to everyone was so "Mightier then Thou" was disgusting at times. In KH1 he still had a cute sense of naivity that he lost fighting Xehanort's Heartless, and when he beat him his ego blew up bigger then Riku's ever was. Infact I'd say that now they're reversed; Riku's the one with the inferiorty complex and Sora is the arrogant one.

 

Well yes I did notice the slight behavior change, but I'd probably hand that one over to increased age. Teens can be so moody sometimes.

 

I think he got stupid and had a bigger ego, but he wasn't really "dark", just more annoying...​

He was still the same hopeful guy, but a bit darker than before.

 

I don't know. In some ways he seemed a bit darker but in other ways he seemed lighter. He was no longer jealous in KH2, after having gone through KH and CoM though he didn't have the memory of it.

However, he did seem a bit more 'no nonsense' in KH2 when he grew tired of the games the Org were playing on him. He also seemed more mature to me than in KH1, though less observant at times. In the end, I said no because though he became a bit more serious, he also lost some early faults that could be considered negative too. I think it balanced out.

 

He's a little darker and more serious when it comes to the Organization, but otherwise he's pretty optimistic and cheerful.

 

Did anyone ever consider that Sora might just be acting like a normal teenager for once >.>

Not for nothen, but he sure as hell was a lot bigger the in the first one. Growth spert, girls (well kairi really, but still), and now he's getting used to the 'saving the universe from darkness and all else that wishes to harm it'. I mean, its sorta makes sense. Harmones >.>

 

I think he just got a little more mature and it caused him to in some ways grow a little darker.
