Dances

So I'm attempting to teach myself the Charleston. It's fun, but my left side won't cooperate.

So, what's everyone's favorite dance?

 

Cupid shuffle.

that's a song but it's also my fave!
As a dancer i only get to do hip hop,ballet,jazz,and tap.
Thats my faverite dance unfortunately people say"White girl you do it wrong."
(i prolly do) so i'm still learning it....XD charlseton is so easy! ^^

 

This one I had never heard of before until I went on a senior dinner cruise a month ago. I also had a few too many, as did everyone else on the boat. It was fun.

There's another one that I can't name, but it goes "To the left...take it back now y'all...hop forward three times..hope forward three....criss cross!..criss cross!"

Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about. I'm old, I doubt they play this one as much as they used to.

 

That one's the ChaCha slide. It's the only dance they allow at my school.

Why is that the only one allowed at school? Is it because it's "less dirty"?

This is another one that shows up a lot at the dances/parties I go to. It's Called "Mony Mony" by Billy Idol. There really aren't any steps to it, but it was still fun to dance to. But it sure feels like it just drags on.

I love the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, and The Cotton Eye Joe.
I also like the Solja Boy, just because it's fun to see everyone flail for a little bit.

 

The twist, just the classic twist. I used to pull off one hell of a twist, but it's been a while. Also; jump. Completely different genre, but it's awesome to watch many jumpers do their thing in sync, and fun if you're one of them.
And then there's moshing, but I guess that doesn't quite count. XD

 

Ha, that dance is awesome, I cant do it, but I have tried, its difficult.

I love to breakdance. Even though I totally injured myself doing this. but its awesome!

 

I love The Twist. The Twist is fun x3 It's such a classic, but it's so entertaining to watch and do. I like it.​

 

I hate dancing, but it is nice seeing other people dance, I think if I was to dance... It'd be waltzing XD

 

I like to pop & lock.
It's basically the robot, but with more complicated steps and sequences.

 

I got to a Baptist school, which means dancing, drinking and card-playing is all of the devil. They're finally letting us dance at prom, but only YMCA and ChaCha slide.
