    ive tried uploading to youtube, but their new desing loads fast, but it keeps "processing" for an hour for an 8 second video!

    I was wondering about that too. Because when I was uploading my video last night I saw the bar all the way at the edn, but the Processing was at 0%, and yet my video was all finished. I don't understand this

    You can often start watching a video before it is done processing, there will just be stuff like fewer resolution sizes and the like. Basically the servers for Youtube are really busy and the primary objectives are the input and output (e.g. the upload and streaming of videos) so processing takes a bit longer.

    The completion or processing?

    As Mixt said, all videos are viewable while they're still processing, but only in 240p.

    than either it does finish but for some reason it's messed up and says 0%, or I don't know what else, but my video has 720p, and it never got past 0%

    Oh, you mean the new "Processing" text that appeared in the My Video area?
    Yeah, I don't know what that is.

    It only appears for the first or second video there, so I'm not too sure what that's all about.
