Ok, now I'm REALLY pissed at my mom! She think $140 is too much for a hard drive. IT'S 250 FREAKIN' GB! That's like, 1/4 of what it's worth! Heck, I'd be happy with 30 gb! The 11 gb I have right now JUST DOESN'T CUT IT! I have been asking for a new hard drive for almost a YEAR now! I finally find a freakin' awesome deal, and my parents laugh at me. THEY LAUGH! Now I have to save up for a Nintendo DS AND a new hard drive! And I'm "too young" to do anything except babysit! And now they're discussing going to see a movie that I wanted to see without me! I have to stay home and babysit. I'd bet anything they're not planning on paying me, either. I bet if MOM was the one in need of a new hard drive, we would have it already.

Oh, wow... I got my hard drive for $100 (I dunno how much it holds, though >.>)

Still, that's not cool... *sigh* Younger kids need more job oppourtunities now... I don't even have the option of babysitting cuz nobody out where I am needs it, and my parents don't do allowance... ><

have you told her you feel like this, though? Maybe she'll understand if you explain how you're feeling? >.>

Meh, dad jumped in and said that's he's working extra hours just so we can pay the mortgage...

And last time I ever tried to tell mom how I really felt about something, I got in toruble and she said I need to fix my additude and learn to respect her >_>

I don't even remember how much my hard drive was. I don't usually keep track of these things. =|

But judging from what you said, you really must seem angry about this.

~Amber~, consider yourself lucky. I have to use my family's computer. All I have is a sh!tty desktop that has Windos 95 and my parents say I can't get a laptop until Christmas.

That's okay. I can last till Christmas... I hope. You have to convince them somehow. Isn't that a really good deal, 250 GB for only $140?

Yes, considering 80 gb usually goes for about $170.

I often seem different then how I really feel. For example right now, IRL, I look completely emotionless.

As in my face has no expression, even if you looked directly in my eyes you wouldn't know what's going on inside.

@ Amber, I guess you're feeling like you're gonna explode in a fit of random rage because your mom expects you to babysit, and doesn't want to get something for ya.....
Have I hit the nail on it's poor little noggin?

You really got it for only 10 pence? Was there a sale or something?

    Pretty much.

I've also been mad at her for a few other things, but this is the most recent.

Pence=pennies, right? That's impossible to get a computer for only 10 cents. Unless it was a gift.

Oh wow. That's really mean of them. Most parents aren't too computer savvy, so they don't realize how great a deal that is, but that movie thing... just wow.

That's because they can't remember that far back with their ancient minds.
