D23 2017 - What to Expect for 'Kingdom Hearts III'

As KH fans know by now, there will definitely be some KH3 news next week during D23. Last month's trailer confirmed two things we'll be getting. A new world and a new trailer longer than the last one. However, it appears that some KH fans may be expecting a bit too much from D23 next week, and the series director, Tetsuya Nomura, took note of that, giving a message to fans during a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- concert in Osaka:

By "normal new KH3 info", what we should expect from D23 is exactly what was promised in the last trailer, a new world and a new trailer. Anything else would simply be raising expectations too high. So don't expect a release date, an additional new world or two, or a confirmation by Utada to perform a new song.

It's always a shame when a fandom hypes themselves up for something only to become disappointed when they don't get what they wanted. It's kinda like what happened with the Pokémon fandom a couple of months ago when they hyped themselves up for a supposed Pokémon Stars only to get upset when nothing of the sort was announced. So it's a good thing Nomura decided to address this and told KH fans not to hype themselves up.

That being said, given that we're getting a look at a new world next week, which world do you guys think it will be? I'm putting bets on Pocahontas, Jungle Book, or a very surprising Gravity Falls based world.

Not sure why fans were expecting more. They should be glad with what we're already getting given the journey we've been on waiting for the game. x3

but I do agree with Ability King, it's good Nomura slowed that hype train.

I'm betting on either Frozen or Wreck It Ralph being the new announced world. (I'm really hoping it's WIR)
