I prefer V2, it's much more true to your normal style, and it keeps that simple but surprisingly awesome look. The colors match the mood of the render perfectly and while not many effects are used, it just... it's very appealing to the eyes, and that's really what ultimately matters most. Great job.

 

I like the V2 one.
It has better color.
Although I like the firey color in V1.
And nice signature by the way :P
