    Being able to sing just doesn't come to you. It takes practice.

    Seriously, I've been singing since I was a kid, but only started to take singing seriously when I was 14.

    Don't give up. You think all of the famous singers we know got where they are by saying, "Well I can't sing. Gonna give up now."

    And let's face it, a voice is not necessary for success in music. It certainly helps, but is inevitably superfluous if you don't have the creativity to back it up.
