Cutscene Archive Update - Kingdom Hearts II

    I'm sure some of you are confused; Kingdom Hearts II came out years ago--we already have videos for it! Well, thanks to the efforts of our staff member mixt, we are now working on providing the Kingdom Hearts community with higher quality versions of those videos.

    The collection is far from complete (though we will keep working at making it so!), and the files are larger than the original videos, so the originals are still accessible by clicking the Cutscene Archive (Low Quality) link, in the Kingdom Hearts II section of our Cutscene Archive.

    To give you an idea of what we mean by 'higher quality', here are some comparison images we're sure will convince you:

      Hehe just today I was wondering when these would come out. Really sweet stuff! It's quite the undertaking, but well worth it in the end.

      So Im guessing the second image is that of Final Mix? Roxas's hair looks different than image one. Is it because of the HD?

      Well it's not HD but it only looks different because we're to able to see the texture that was used in his hair better due to better compressing I believe.

      And it's great to see that these are coming out nicely. Will the option to download the .mp4 version of clips be available as well?

      Aww man, I liked the subtitles. Anyways, thanks for the new cutscenes Mixt!

      EDIT: Oh snap, I just realized that they are WAY bigger in file size. It's not that my hard drive is low on space (far from it), but I have REALLY crummy internet, so it would take over 1/2 hour just to download the first clip (Twilight Town First Day).

      I liked the subtitles too, but it was just to I know how to write the word and memorize it for my vocabulary. I think to do videos is best free-subtitles (and i can also learn more about english too =D). Thanks a lot guys!

      And one question... how did you guys set free-subtitle? It's a option from the game? I want to set Free-subtitle to Kingdom Hearts I,Re:CoM and II...?

      I believe he used a hack to take off the subtitles. It isn't possible to do it in the game. And I personally like that he took off the subtitles because in my opinion, they look very distracting in an AMV.

      Wow, this is a nice change. These cutscenes remind me of the KH2FM+ clips I have from KH13. To mixt, great work! These things make it easier on the AMV makers who rely on KHV for their clips.

      Again, great work. I can't stress how helpful this will be to so many people, myself included.
