I've never had a problem with AVI's but if these take up less disk space then they shall be my new friends. Also, mp4's go nicely on the iPod as well, so I can randomly have Kingdom hearts cutscenes if I ever feel the need to watch them xD Thanks Mixt, thanks Misty!

I may put in soft subs later (like SRTs) but if I can avoid it none of my videos will have hard subs.
If I was going to do MP4 it was H264 hands down. It's a beautiful codec.
I'm sure I could push the compression more, but I get a bit paranoid about quality drops, even if they are barely visible to the naked eye. My apologies to anyone that has to worry about hard drive space.

Fairly soon. I've got some stuff to do in real life, and KH1 is a slower progress. But it will get done.

Don't give me too much praise. Our previous Media Recorders were plenty good. I've got some tech at my disposal that they didn't, and I get plenty of help. These MP4s would not be the quality they are if Guardian Soul didn't help me.

Well the MP4s are only barely smaller than AVI. Though with me being OCD with quality they are pretty safe to compress them farther. I figured if I under compress people could compress them more to be where they need it. If I over compress people that are willing to have large files for the quality get kinda screwed.

I guess the biggest flaw in that logic being the people that don't have computers that can easily re-encode or worse store them. But those are pretty few.

P.S. If anyone reading this is in the group of people with less than ideal computers, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

Yay! Now I dont have to convert them anymore for Sony Vegas with a lot of lost quality (I use MP4 files now). :D

They dont seem to work for Sony Vegas for me.
All Im getting is the audio but not any video when I put it in. :(
