I think it would be nice if this were an option here. I even found a modification for it on vBulletin.org. It's for vBulletin 3.5.x, but a moderator said it should still work on vBulletin 4, and I can back that up, because the modification is used on Official Rigs of Rods Forum, which is running vBulletin 4.2.0.

It's also possible to add more formats than the ones that come with it, as well as custom formats so users can have their own desired format, which would require editing the custom profile fields and codes to the plugins.

    Thoughts?

I think this could be useful. My preferred formats are n/j/Y for the date (e.g., 7/15/2012), and g:i A for the time (e.g., 8:29 PM).

Yeah, can't see this being too much troube to implement, and I'd like this setting available.

This sounds Fantastic! Allons-y Misty! Go put this on girl! ....Geronimo!... lol.

Joking aside, It would be cool. Is the date gonna show up on posts instead of "Yesterday 8:45"? I hate having to check the date somewhere else after I post if I need to remember that post.

Not from what my search turned up. The only way would be to add a custom language and set the date format for that, which I did for non-US users back on vBulletin.

    That's too bad.

This can be locked for now, then, but if you ever find something, if it's not too trouble, re-open this and make a post. :)

I'll just leave it open in the event that someone else finds something.
