I just finished going through all 30 layers in the Coliseum in Re:Coded and didn't get the star rank. It took me something like 5 hours, and now I'm going to have to do it an extra time, plus the time it will take for the other three difficulties. I hate my life.
Not a different rank, but another rank. You can get either an "B" "A" or star rank each time you play through. You can play through on either 5, 15, or 30 layers, and each amount is a separate run through, plus each difficulty for each amount. Say you play through all 30 layers on a difficulty you haven't played before, you wouldn't get the rank for the 5 and 15 amount of layers, just the 30 amount. This means that if you want to 100% complete the world you have to play through each amount of layers, 5, 15, and 30, on each difficulty, which is 4. This means that, assuming you get a star rank the first time you play each amount on each difficulty, the minimum number of layers you will have to go through is 200. But if you're like me and don't get a star rank on your first time, that number will be higher. I've done all of the difficulties and got the star rank for 5 layers. I've done one difficulty and gotten the star rank for 15 layers, and one difficulty and didn't get the star rank for 30 layers, that means that if I get the star rank each time from now on I have 165 layers to go.
FAR easier said than done. I was at a pretty high level when I last picked up Re:Coded and I still got stuck on Data Roxas' LAST FORM! It is so awful to be so close to the end and then die, because you are almost guaranteed to be less patient and lose faster. ;-; And good luck, Below. I salute you for putting up with the Coliseum at all, especially considering your goal. It was easily one of the more tedious levels imo.
Oh woah you guys, you really went there, I'm impressed. (I remember now how it took me 4 months of on and off trying my butt off all night/giving up to beat Lingering Spirit Vanitas and the other guy in BBS because I'm so bad at games) But srsly wow Colliseum I mean shame you didn't make it but your dedication is most admirable. I might've done it, MIGHT'VE, but then I lent my game to a friend. Then she lost it But then she found it And now I'm just too lazy.
