Crisis Core - did it live up to the hype?

Seeing as SE, for some reason, decided to delay the release of FFVII Crisis Core in Europe until now, I was wondering what people who've already played it think of it. I've already pre-ordered my copy for Friday, but still I'd like to know what you think.

 

I thought it was amazing personally. It was one of the best FF games I've played in quite a while.

 

For sure, probably the best PSP game on the market right now. The game play is exactly like KH2, which is nice.The only thing that bugged me were the constant battles... it's like you take 4 steps and it's "Activating Battle mode" lol. Still a great game, worth the money.

 

Ok, that's good to know... Now I'll have something to play when I finish Re:CoM!

We shouldn't have had to wait this long though... The US version came out months ago! They should have done a simultaneous release like with The World Ends With You. Oh well...

 

I live in Europe to but a friend of mine imported Crisis core so I have played some on his psp. And the game was freaking awesome. I love the graphics and the gaming system. It is defenitly the best psp game right now. But I did get a little annoyed over the voice whic says: activate combat mode.

 

Horrible difficulty curve, great game.

the hardest person you can fight is freakin crazy! But it is worth the money and once you make it halfway through it starts to get really fun

Awesome in all ways, a good story, good graphics, and a good battle system. I have nothing more to say. Oh, one thing, a really weird curve of difficulty, as Xendran said.

If a KH game has that same battle engine, I pay the whole price money to buy it!

 

Meh. The gameplay was OK, but the main purpose of the game was to clear up the plot holes.

 

Amen to that.

 

Im finding alot of the missions easier than the story. I kinda forgot about the story after i beat the stupid part where the shinra things are attacking the building,and i haventplayed past that out of sheer laziness, and busy with rock band / gh3 (and soon to be GH Aerosmith)
