I was wondering if anyone had found any of these--as stated, covers of songs that are better than the original songs themselves. Personally, I'm quite fond of these: I Will Follow You Into the Dark - Original|Cover Just A Dream - Original|Cover E.T. - Original|Cover Anything you guys like?
Running Up That Hill - Original / Cover Imagine - Original / Cover I still enjoy the originals but I really like the melancholic feel of their covers.
Prelude op. 23 No 5 - Original / Cover I've no doubt you hadn't that in mind, but this is no trollish post. I do prefer Prokofiev's rendition over Rachmaninov's. I find the original rather stiff and lacking in force, and thus feebly in feeling. I don't blame the man for paling in face of his stand-in, for he is up against Prokofiev himself. Prokofiev. You cannot outwit Sergei Prokofiev, at least, not if it is a question of pianist dexterity. Original is okay; mediocre. Cover is god tier. He inspired Prokofiev, I will give him that much.
No way... There are other Christina Grimmie fans on KHV!!?!? Why did I never know about this! She's one of my favorite singers! I only went to Selena Gomez's concert so I could see her lol. Another good cover is This song as well as this song
I'm sorry, I'll have to disagree with you on the cover for "I Will Follow You Into the Dark". He takes two minutes JUST to get to the actual song. And even then he doesn't really impress me... Same thing for "Just A Dream" minus the waiting forever to get to the song. Okay, that E.T. cover was awesome. Always - Original | Cover That's all I can think of....
Halo by Beyonce. I love her but this guy is way better then her lol. Cover http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKEqqxhDC0E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnVUHWCynig&ob=av2e
As big a fan as I am of The Beatles, this cover's just so much more fitting for the song I think
