Could Someone With Hacking Experience Give Me Some Suggestions on a Code I Hacked?

It's for Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy. I hacked a code for Hughes to always be your partner no matter who you play as or where you are, and it seems to work. There is one problem though- whenever I go into a room where you aren't supposed to have a partner, Hughes disappears, but his life bar just goes down to no health and stays on the HUD. If any hackers (espescially the Coders) could give me a suggestion, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again, guys. ^_^

the code that represents him to be on the battle feild isn't hacked probably. or if that address is hacked it probably was on a temporary address and moved to another

 

So I should re-hack it?

 

re hacking what you just did is gonna give you the same result as you have now. you need to add more to the code if you want that character everywhere in the game

Its kinda like a full party code for kh2 ya know?
You changed your party but still aint able to keep him there, cept in DS when the party is gone there isnt ment to be any stats or whatever, which is what you forced on there.

Yea like carey said, I'm using the Traier Toolkit which is basically a device that hooks your DS up to your PC and lets you use a live debugger on the PC. It's very useful.

Also, I've been trying to hack something like a full party code. I think I might almost have it.

Do you mean to use the codes or actually hack them? To use the codes you need an Action Replay DS, which you can get at almost any video game store. To hack them, the best thing you can get is a Trainer Toolkit. Go here. http://joystores.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=646&currency=USD. It allows you to hack DS games. However there are two things to know before buying.

1. You need an Action Replay DS to use the codes you hack.

2. I wouldn't suggest actually buying it without a basic knowledge of video game hacking. The instruction manual that comes with the Trainer Toolkit shows you some examples of hacking basic codes like infinite health and money, but they may not cut it.
