Im really surprised nobody posted this...BUT IT LOOKS GOOD!

    Summary...*Spoilers*
The story of a young girl who unlocks a mysterious door in her new home, and enters into an adventure in a parallel reality. On the surface, this other world eerily mimics her own life--though much more fantastical. In it, Coraline encounters such off-kilter inhabitants as the morbidly funny Miss Forcible and Miss Spink, and a counterfeit mother--who attempts to keep her. Ultimately, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home.

This comes out Feb. 6th, Before V-day...Perfect.And It's made by the guy who directed Nightmare Before Christmas...EPIC, MUST GO SEE!

    Trailer:

    MUST GO SEEE!!!

It looks okay, but I won't see it. I know it'll be popular, but I just think it's a bit "off" in a sense.

    -bump-

I just saw the movie, and I have to say... it was very dark. Don't get me wrong, I love dark movies but I think that a lot of parents were upset because they didn't know how dark it really was. xD Probably 9 and up would be my recommendation. Anyways I loved the stop motion and visuals, Dakota did a very nice job on Coraline's character. I give it a 8.5/10.

Damn, I might be able to go see it during mid-winter break : D

The funny thing is the book is much more dark then the movie, so parents are in for a treat : D

But Dakota is doing a great job this year because she's in alot of movies that are doing are/going to do well(The Secret Life of Bees, Push, Escape to Witch Mountian, etc.) And I like her roles, so it make me happy to see shes back in the Biz

It doesn't look like anything special to me, but if it's that good, I might give it a chance.

I read the book in like 4th grade, why the hell are they making a movie now?

That's the only reason I want to see it at all.
Besides that, it's just...interesting and weird looking...
