As you all heard, FF XIII is coming out for Microsoft. Got any suggestions why didn't Sony only got that game. May reasons were that Sony spend too much time on Killzone 2. But that's my opinion. Yours?

I would assume that the reason FF13 is no longer a Sony exclusive is because Square Enix is trying to attain the maximum profit possible and by bringing it to other platforms means more money.

Because the PS3 isn't selling too well. The 360 has solid sales, so Square wants to make sure a decent amount of people will play their game.

    Here's what I think:

Microsoft won't get s**t in return from Japanese when FFXIII comes out. Because, didn't the PS3 sel out in Japan? And maybe Japan is populated more by Sony fans at heart, in which creates the fact they might buy the game on the PS3 instead.

As for in America, I find it stupid, and smart for Square Enix to let FFXIII on the Xbox 360. It's smart because other people will be getting their hands on it, but I find it stupid because the PS3 already has terrible sales, and making it go to the 360? Wow, thanks for putting Sony down.

The sales for PS3s are doing quite well considering that they came out later.

FFXIII isnt coming out on the 360 in Japan, so it wont help their sales there at all lol.

Not really lol. Have you seen 360 sales in japan? Not only are they one of the least selling consoles, but they average about 1 game on the top sales charts. Japan is a very bad place for the 360. They still manage though....somehow xD.

Wow, I knew Japan supported Sony more but DAMN. The 360 really is sucking there.

Thats why I thought they would want it on 360 in Japan, well Microsoft would...

Ok it would be a bad move for Square to but a good'n for Microsoft...

By the way, it's not a stupid idea. Square is a company like any other. They want profit and they know they won't get that with an FF exclusive to PS3. And if you think Sony owns Microsoft, you are sadly mistaken. FFVII and FFVIII were for PC also, so that's not exclusive. There are remakes still going on today of the first four, with V almost here. Square has always been multiplatform, even if it doesn't seem like it. The First Final Fantasy wasn't even exclusive. It was also on the PC Engine(AKA TurboGrafx-16) , even though it never made it to America. It isn't disappointing Sony fans. It's business. That's all they care about. That's why they're not wasting time in Japan with the 360. But, with that being said, most of Square's newest RPGs ready are 360 exclusive or out before the PS3 that come out for the 360.

    mabye....it's just for test?

there may be a lot of old FF fans who buyed the 360
but if they release FFXIII to the xbox it might make old players want to play again....

    i do not know...

I'd say no. Microsoft's already got lots of great games in store and up in coming.

Nintendo's the one who needs this. XD

    I mean it...

Well, I see many reasons, but the good thing is that Versus XIII is ONLY for PS3... I hope.
