So yesterday my computer was like ****ed up. I turned it on and well it didn't want to load also, the moniter was all wavy (but it wasn't the moniter). Then later on I turned on the computer but it wasn't wavy it was just blury on one side but I could like browse and be on the computer. Then I left to go somewhere so I shut it off. Later on I turned it on and it was wavy and didn't want to load agian. So like then I asked my step sister for help since it didn't want to load agian. We opened the Hardrive (like the part of the computer where you turn it on and stuffz) cause we figured it may have over heated or been dusty. Well it was dusty since my parents and I are dumb and stuff and didn't know we had to dust it. But even then after we dusted it it still didn't work. So yeah I don't know if I got a virus orrr....? Cause this happened loads of times at my school.

Also doing a recovery test or check (on the computer) does that delete all my saved files and crap? Cause that would suck big time

Well, when you recover that means you are recovering from the last point your computer had saved at. IE: recovering from March 23rd would delete everything you had done between March 23rd to this day. So I say, if you can, put all of your most wanted things onto some disks and then try to recover it.

But I can ask Neku for you. Would you like me to do that?

Well I try. I have literally grown up around computers (windows to be exact) and I do know plenty of things to be able to help people a lot! ^^

Erm... yeah... ask Neku, but I think me and my step sister know what we have to do now...

So the hardrive is like going to fail? Or something like that and we have to ask computer experts to take out our files (if they can) and pay them. We also have to buy a new hardrive. And they're both expensive.

So with that information being said is there anything else that you guys might come up with? :D Thanks for the help Shiki.

It could be that the monitor is on the fritz. If you have a spare monitor laying around, try using that one.

It's not the moniter though. Like if I'm not loading the computer, and the moniter is saying like moniter going to sleep or no input or something like that it's normal.
Stop spamming I ignored it the first time. >:

If you are to replace your harddrive after you've tried all the other solutions, don't do it immediately, but first format it and then see if it works. If it does, then there's no need to buy new hard drive. But be carefull, formatting deletes everthing in your harddrive, including windows.

Correct, but if you are to change your hard drive then you'll need those either.

then you should know recovering doesnt delete anything. it turns your SETTINGS back to what they were. you dont lose any files though.
