Kingdom Hearts II CoM Affecting FM

So...From what was read I remember that Re:Chain of Memories affects bits of Final Mix+...Since I just got the games again recently...I'm curious as to what actually gets changed...Is it just that you get to fight the Data forms after beating them in CoM? Or is there something more? If this is in the wrong area or section, asked before or something let me know since I didn't find anything that really gave the answer...Plus it's my first time back here since...Well whenever I did that one guide in 2007. Thank you for your time.

 

This is true. I've seen it with my own eyes. My favorite fight is with Marluxia in KH2FM

 

Well,the CoM clear Data(Both,Reverse/Rebirth and normal) alone doesn't affect FM data,if you have a Clear data for Both though,the Theater mode for FM will have Jap voices,nothing more.
But if you have the FM clear data while playing CoM,there will be new cards.

 

So...
CoM = Jap voices in FM Theater
FM = New cards
...Is that it? Interesting...Well then I guess I'm going to FM instead of continuing the long course of CoM. Thanks for the help DeadHeart.

[Edit] I don't know if it should appear later but from what I remember it just appeared in Beast's room but...Marluxia's portal thing is no where to be seen...I'll assume for now that it should be there later...At least I hope it is.

 

Actually it's CoM+FM = Japanese Theater.
And Marly portal will only appear in the second visit.

 

*Hits self* I forgot about the fact the bed was still there during the first visit...Man...I really have forgotten a ton about this game in the year I didn't play it...Ah well thank you again DeadHeart.

 

Well, the Data battles are the only difference that I saw. Maybe the 13 Black Fungus' have to do with Re:CoM

 

Nope,and the data battles aren't affected by CoM either.

 

Are there any connections at all? If those aren't then I can't think of any.

 

Just the theater mode.
