For those who have not watched, be warned, major spoilers.

I finished Code and I really noticed something. How similar the storyline was to Jesus' life. Let me explain before I get attacked or something :P Remember that parenthesis are thigs from the Bible

Besides being born of a prince bloodline, Lelouch disliked the Britannian army (Pharases with their teachings of being "good") so he became Zero and wanted them to break free of them (preachings) through battles and recruiting people to his side (performing miracles). Lelouch eventually fortells how he is going to die to save the people after becoming the prince of Britannia (Jesus fortelling his death) and when Lelouch is sold off by the Black Knights (Judas' betrayal). Once Lelouch gains absolute power, he asks Suzaku to kill him since all of the people's hate (sins) are on him. Killing Lelouch would free the people from tyrrany and have better lives.

Besides being resurrected and all that stuff, this is how I believe what Code Geass is about. I'm probably wrong, but it totally made connections for me. I'd like your comments and critisism please. Complements help too

Adding to this is the Cart Driver theory that Lulu stole his father's code and revived that way. There's the revival business.

The thing is, you're missing out on the World of C thing. Lelouch killed his father, and rejected his view for the world. You may 8e a8le to manipul8 it to fit the context though.

Even then, I think this is just the Messiah structure, as opposed to directly referencing Christianity. After all, Lulu does some pretty 8ad things.

    I knew I forgot something :P

I know he did some bad things, but I'm pointing out the good and seeinghow it relates. I'm not saying you're wrong. I also forget the world of C thing.

Some say that the World of C is very similar to Hell, which fits eerily well with Apostle's Creed (He descended into Hell, and on the third day he rose again). Also, regarding all the bad things Lelouche did, they were about equal to the things Jesus did in his time. Back then, working on the Sabbath and witchcraft (both of which the Sanhedrin claimed his miracles were) were then about equal to what murder is today.

The only real difference that I see is that Lelouche did all the bad things that he did for the express purpose of making the world hate him, where Jesus did what he did to help people and became hated as a result. If anything, this makes Lelouche BETTER THAN JESUS. Either way, both of them became the focus of the world's hate and then died, taking that hate with them.

It does make sense. Sorry if I'm leaving things out. I don't usually have a good mind ^^"

There are definitely similarities, but it's like that with many anime/manga and movies in general. They need to find inspiration somewhere ;) Oh, and amazing anime.
