My first creations from Photoshop (beside my current avatar, which was a quicky)

I'm thinking of cutting down on height. Any criticism is welcome...preferrably constructive >.>

 

Well, on the one with text, maybe make it fit in more with the image and not just stand out? Not sure on that. Maybe make it where it's not over the hand so you can see more of the hand. Perhaps extend the effects around Cloud a little?

 

Revised it a bit. Think I'll use it as my sig for now.

hmm how did you get the backround cuz i like it, i would give it a A- good job

 

it is great. the only problem i have with it is that the text is too plain. you should have done something to make the "Strife" less bland.

White for the font is really not the color
Less the Opacity on the blue cold in bottom right corner

This one I like a lot, but I also prefer the one without the text, if you made the text blend in more with the picture and not just make it look like it has been stamped on, it may look a bit better. And as Taffy said, white is just not the colour, it's too bold.

I prefer this one. The text stood out for me a little too much, and I would have liked it better with fancier writing, and making it blend into the background a little more.
