Anyone like classic rock anymore..?? Like Led Zeppelin or Kansas? If u like Classic Rock bands PLEASE reply and talk about them!?!?!
I like classic rock. I think one band I like is...well, damn. I forgot the name O__o Imma ask my mom.
Ah...Trying to get into classic rock. Led Zepplin is good but I still don't think they're the best sounding thing out there. What annoys me is that a lot of classic rock have singers that annoy me. Although back then that was practically the 'in' thing. AD/DC...nice band but not too great.
Yeah, I listen to them. Quite often actually. Led Zeppelin isn't exactly my favourite band of the lot though..."Stairway To Heaven" is easily the most overrated song ever.
MEGADETH!!!!! PANTERA!!!! SLAYER!!!! ANTHRAX!!!! King diamond? Can we try to avoid the over rated bands like Metallica, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix please? They're good but we hear about them all the time when Charlie Benante can smear Lars. EDIT-Go to classic rock group and discuss there
But those four are more metal than classic rock o.o I'm not sure what counts as "classic", but I do enjoy The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Who, Journey, Eagles, and The Beatles to name a few.
They're considered more heavy classic rock. I could never get into The Who though. Everybody asks me if The Who is better or if the Beatles are and when I respond The Beatles they give me a weird stare.
The Beatles are better, but The Who are still great to me. Think it has to do with instrumental prowess from each band.
Yeah The Who is a bit heavier but I don't like the way they play while the Beatles do play as fast but have a nice groove to it. There's a reason why I'm called Hippie Jesus.
I like a lot of classic rock bands. Of course The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart. There's a lot more, but those are the ones that I just thought of off the top of my head.
Now, I'll happily agree that Metallica (though not a classic rock band, neither are Megadeth, Pantera (who didn't even get their known sound until the 90s), Slayer, Anthrax, King Diamond or Iron Maiden) and AC/DC (also not classic rock) being overrated, but there's a reason why Jimi is one of the most influential guitarists to ever live. He accomplished in his 4 year career what many try and fail to do in their entire lives.
The only ones I actually like a lot are The Beatles, Metallica and AC/DC. But I do agree that AC/DC and Metallica are overrated. But they're still good bands. Personally, I love AC/DC's music.
