~Note~​

When I was frequenting another forum, a while back, I had many friends who were RPers. One such friend and his cousin created an RP called "City of Heroes". It was the coolest RP I've been in. A year or two later, I came back here; six months after I vanished from this site, I saw that mindstorm787 had created a similar RP, but it was placed in a modern Earth. The RP "City of Heroes" had taken place in a Pangaea world. Mindstorm787's RP, just from reading it, inspired me to start my own "City of Heroes" RP. So, I would like to thank mindstorm787 for inadvertently inspiring me to redo this RP in my image.​

~Plot~​

Valhallah.

Valhallah was once a place where humans lived normal lives. The technology evolved to great heights; however, so did the genetic code of a select few humans. This gene was call the Elysia gene, and from this gene spawned the Ubermensch, humans of considerable power. The strongest of these special humans were considered gods... and rightfully so. Fourteen gods, alone, had taken down the normal humans and established the New World Order. Humans became the minority, despite remaining the majority populace; the Ubermensch became the majority and possessed ruling power over the masses.

This New World Order did not last, however. Half of the gods argued that to maintain power, they would need to selectively breed to keep their new society pure... and kill the humans. The other half argued that they should rule benevolently, showing the normal humans the true path to peace, wishing to co-exist with them. This schism caused the gods to wage wars for countless aeons. These wars caused the Shattered Rifts, breaking the Pangaea world. Seven continents were formed; the gods, weary of the wars, fell into a deep sleep...

The humans were all but eradicated, and the several million that survived repopulated each continent. Unbeknownst to the slumbering gods, the humans had performed a miracle... they created more Ubermensch. Nevertheless, the humans treated the Ubermensch with great disdain in the absence of the gods. The humans rebuilt their civilizations and punished, ostracized, and murdered the Ubermensch when their powers manifested.

Scientists provided solace for the Ubermensch, with the proposition that they were allowed to perform tests. These scientists were quite kind to the Ubermensch, only taking samples of them to study their genetic code. They even performed field tests to see the extent and possibilities of their powers.

And here, the destined Ubermensch with great potentials begin their quest, in Lab #696...

Elysium.

~Rules~​

• NO GODMODDING! NO POWERPLAYING! (I, as the GM, am exempt from this for potential story purposes)
• Try to stay active in the thread. The maximum that you can be inactive for is a month.
• You must have a minimum of 3 paragraphs in your post.
• I'll allow up to a max of 3 characters.
• Follow the KHV rules. All of them, including the RP rules.
• Keep me, and your fellow RPers, informed about you ability to post. I may let you all get away with not posting beyond a month so long as it is a viable reason (it usually is).
• Be respectable to everyone. If I see any sign of disrespect, and you continue to do so, you will be booted. So... don't feed the troll, guys.
• You're allowed only one power. This power will remain with you throughout the RP; but, this power also develops further as you go on. Once we hit a particular marker, I'll allow you all to upgrade your power.
• As an Ubermensch, you are born this way rather than created or injected with this power. So please no experiments or modified Ubermensch... the scientists have not done any sort of research on that end. (This rule is also here to prevent OVERPOWERED characters).
• I have the power to change/add rules. You will be notified when this happens.

  *Personality: Extremely aggressive and heavily prone to violence, enjoys insulting others. Almost never does something to help others unless he can see it working out for him in some way.​

In fact, he embraces it, and if someone were to ask he could show them many scars located all over his body from various fights in his past. Slowly as he fought more and more, he noticed himself getting stronger. At first he shrugged it off, merely thinking of it as practice kicking in, but he came to realize that it was more than that. He was, and had presumably always been, an Ubermensch. Deciding to do something that may benefit him even more than collecting money for "eliminating" people, he decided to give himself up to science in the hopes that they may eventually see fit to make him even more powerful.​

ASDFGHJKL OMG YOU'RE BACK! I'M SO HAPPY! ;A; Well, I'm gonna join but... I'm kind of confused with the plot, what exactly IS the goal here?

Personality: Very sadistic and cold, causing trauma for everybody, friend or foe alike, and also flirtatious. When she becomes angry she snaps easily and goes on killing sprees. When she does this, she blacks out and kills anyone around her, friend or foe.

Power/Ability: Gravity: she can manipulate the gravity around her, making it lighter or heavier.

Bio: Iris was abused as a child both emotionally and physically by both parents. They both told her she was worthless, unloveable, useless, and so on. One day her father tried to hurt her again and she finally got fed up with her parents. It was then when she first discovered and used her ability to manipulate gravity. She used it to make the gravity around her heavier over her parents until it eventually crushed and killed them both.
Now, with this newfound power of hers, she fears nothing. She will freely kill anyone she feels is a threat or is simply a nuisance to her and she has gradually become more violent and angry throughout her life.

Iona is really small and is often mistaken for being much younger than she actually is.

*Personality: Iona is gentle by nature, she can quite often give the impression of being quiet and innocent. She prefers to not fight and doesn't like to hurt people. However she is fully aware of the cruelties and knows more than she lets on, despite not liking to fight she will do what she sees as necessary to help others. She does not like others getting hurt and she will fight if need be. She is ultimately an optimist and tries her best to lift the spirits of everyone around her which can make her appear naive.

Iona was born into a fairly normal, and relatively happy family. However, she lived near to several Ubermensch and she saw them being regularly harassed and treated cruelly, even by her own family. She didn't really understand why, when they'd been nothing but nice to her. Her parent's explanations didn't really satisfy her but by the time she started school the Ubermensch had gone somewhere, she never found out where. She got on well at school and she made friends with ease but still didn't understand it.

A few years later, when she was seven, one of her friend's older brother suddenly developed the ability to walk on water, he had been fairly popular but she watched in horror as everyone turned on him, his friends and even his own sister who was Iona's friend disowned him. Iona couldn't believe it, just because he could walk on water, it made him worthless? Yet, what could she do? She was only seven. Less than a month passed and it came out that the boy had been murdered, worse than that, nobody cared and some people even said it was a good thing. She was powerless to do anything though, despite everything seeming wrong, she just became very quiet and reserved.

She was ten when she fell through a wall accidentally. Nobody was around when it happened but as she sat on the floor in shock she was well aware what it meant. She was one of them. In a way it thrilled her, she could walk through walls!! Yet that was overpowered by a deep fear, she already knew what would happen when people found out. She told nobody. She went to school as usual and somehow managed to keep her accidental phasing hidden. At night, she snuck out and wearing a cloak that hid her fully, she practiced her new found powers, trying to control it. She kept that up for a bit but she knew she'd be found out eventually. She improved at controlling it but people started to notice her strange behavior, including her parents. So she made the decision to leave first. She gathered up her clothes and ran away, wearing her cloak. As she'd not yet been outed there was a huge search party for this 10 year old but she somehow managed to evade them. Walking through walls was handy to hide with.

She got by out there, stole a little money so she could get by, she could always find an empty room to sleep in and be gone by the time anyone came downstairs. She moved a lot over the years, learnt how to get by, she found that with her power she was pretty much untouchable and they could not hurt her. Still she only used her powers with her cloak, meaning she could go out without it and not be treated as one. However despite her being untouchable, everywhere she went she saw Ubermensch who weren't, they were all hated and persecuted. As she got better she found she could phase other people and saved a lot of lives. A mysterious small cloaked girl who just wanted to protect them, they gave her the name Whisper and she became known. However for every life she saved, she saw more get destroyed. Finally, she saw the offer about science and went for it, she was tired of not being able to help enough.

The plot? To put it simply, your character(s) is/are trying to survive. Some may even try to change the mind of the ordinary humans. However, like every good RP, there is going to be unbelievable hardship; hence, survive. (I already have antagonists lined up >=D)
