I've noticed that some members here are currently banned, yet their most recent posts are not breaking the rules.. including Azure Flame...
    Is it due to inactivity?

Please, someone go into depth with the circumstances for being banned, I don't seem to find my answers in any existing threads...

Also if I could find more specific information on what happen to the member mentioned above, Azure Flame, I don't see this kind of person being banned.

Usually the reason they're banned isn't because of posts.
There's lots of reasons like harrassment of other members, hacking into the forum, or (the most common) making an alternate account. Also, breaking a big rule will get you a warning. Three warnings, you're gone. Bans vary, usually either two weeks or permanently.

This thread has the info you're looking for.

So basically, bad posts aren't the only thing that can get you banned.

Also, it's against the rules to ask why someone got banned lol

    BAN ME THEN!

Just kidding, I never saw in the rules that asking about that wasn't allowed.

It still bemuses me though.... I know him from other places, I don't see him doing any of those...

Ah well, let's carry on with our day.

As said, there are various reasons members can get banned. Occasionally, it is because of a nasty post or violating the PG-13 rating too many times, or trolling. However, people can also be banned for having duplicate accounts, account sharing, and harassing members, which everyone may not notice. No one gets banned for inactivity, however.

Bans are not always permanent and regularly are not meant to be talked about so that if the person is permitted to come back, that person can explain why rather than letting rumors run rampant worse than they will.

Hopefully, your questions have been answered and I'm going to go ahead and close this. If you have further questions, pm me or another member of staff. No staff, however, is going to explain to you why a particular person was banned for the reasons stated above.
