Whats your opinion on cheating in solitaire? Good? Bad? Discuss Mine: I can't play solitaire without cheating a little bit, so I think its good. I mean its not like your gambling or something where cheating would be considered bad. Since solitaire is a one person game, your really only cheating yourself from losing. I also like cheating in it so that after i win i just push the cards together and then play again without shuffling.
Cheating in Solitaire? Nah If I get stuck, I just redeal. But if I'm on my computer playing spider solitaire I may need to take a hint every now and again And I think this belongs in Gen. Disc.
-moved- I don't really see the point in cheating. Solitaire is a game you play to relax or out of boredom. There's nothing to gain or to lose. I don't play it much anyway.
It defeats the purpose of the game. I don't know how to cheat in Solitaire. However like Ramen-kun said, I take hints in Spider Solitaire. I hate playing it on my iPod though. I actually was about to win a game when I clicked the "Menu" button.
It depends upon whether you're playing it for the satisfaction of winning, or for just playing it. Since it's a one-person game if you want to let yourself win, it's okay to bend the rules. But... I really don't see the point in it.
I find solitaire to eventually stress me out easily even though it's supposed to relieve stress. So I don't really play it.. However when I do play it. I do take hints.. once or twice..
I don't play solitaire but it really doesn't matter if you cheat because your only affecting yourself..
How does one cheat in Solitaire? And I'm too impatient to play it outside of the computer because of the time it takes to set up. If I get stuck, I just redeal angrily.
I only start to cheat when I'm going to stop playing anyways. XD Then I get bored and put my cards away.
The only thing I really consider "cheating" in Solitaire is when I'm playing manually, and I reorganize a few cards. Mostly, I play on the computer, though, and there's no real way to cheat there (and no, taking a hint is not cheating. It's just like someone looking over your shoulder and saying "that one").
The phrase, "Cheating in Solitaire" is an oxymoron, though. All you're doing is cheating yourself. And what are you cheating yourself out of? Boredom? Entertainment?
I only play solitaire on my iPod, it's impossible to cheat. It won't even give hints xD Sidenote: I read somewhere that cheating in solitaire somehow creates the illusion of not playing on your own, like the thing that prompts you to cheat is a completely different person. I never managed to figure out how that works, though.
