Kingdom Hearts II character designs

well I was watch spiral and I noticed in credit the name Square Enix ...and notice the characters designs the same

 

lol some of their charaters r similar but u could still tell the difference from them

 

LOL I guess what ever character designs work.

 

they are both made by square Enix

 

Well they do look very "animeish", which all anime characters+square characters do.XD
Spiky hair, big eyes... The middle guy looks just like Riku....XD

*shrugs* it's their characters, they can rip it off if they want. The person in the middle looks most like his counterpart.

ok so wat if some of the square enix charaters look similar....

 

It's not at all uncommon for designers to fall back on many safe designs, when creating characters. Take Nomura, I believe that every hero he's created has had spiky, dark hair, aside from Cloud. Then again, look at Zack, and he's basically the reason Cloud does anything, and can bee seen as the pre-protagonist, I suppose.

Many designers have certain things that just work for them, and they stick with it. It's just how artists are, I guess.

David Bowie looks like Demyx
Sean Connery looks like Luxord
Jesse McCarteny looks like Roxas(IMO)
Zexion looks emo.

That's all I can say.

 

They don't look alike, if that's what you think, Riku looks a little bit like the guy or gal in the middle but, they only have the hair and the blindfold, Sora and the guy have the hair but Axel and the other guy don't look the same at all, even if they have red hair I know a few anime characters have red hair such as Reno.
