    I have no idea but I have this packet that tells me about it. Then when I do it with my friend on our ds' it does not work. do we have to have it on the gba or is it something else. If you know about chain of memories and know how to fight friends let us know soon.

    I wasn't aware that you could link with friends and fight with CoM.

    And if this did work, and you could link, you wouldn't be able to do it with a DS. CoM was made for the GBA, and the DS is just compatible with the GBA games. You'd need a link cable. DS is wireless linking.

    And what "packet" is this? I've never heard of it. O_o;;

    He might be talking about the instruction booklet that comes with the game.

    Funny thing is, I've never heard of linking two GBAs together and fighting with friends, even though I do remember seeing the logo on the box saying that linkups were possible. I just never knew what it did, simply because I can't find anyone else with the game who'd be willing to try it.

    And even if one were to try it, you'd have to get a GBA connector cable and link two GBA/GBA SPs together. Like DP Wolf said, the DS was only compatable with the GBA games. It was never made for cable linkups; that's why it's got the Wi-Fi on it.

    once you beat Sora's mode...(or maybe it was riku's)...well anyways once you do that you can link up with another game boy is they have done the same thing to. But you can't do wi-fi saince it's a game boy advanced game so you have to have the cord to link the the ds's together. You can buy them at best buy though I believe.

    There is a cord to link DS's together? It works for GBA games? I was under the impression you needed GBA's to play GBA games multi player.

    Thats cool. Can a DS link up with a GBA?

    Um. No, actually. The DS is WIRELESS.
    Meaning no wires.
    GBAs used a link cable.
    DS uses WiFi.
    And yes, you need two or more GBAs to have multiplayer.
    Greatest example are the 1st - 3rd generation Pokemon games. You needed link cables to battle and trade.
    (I really feel old, omg.)
    Well sorry. I tried to decipher what your friend was saying, but with the lack of punctuation and caps, it was kind of hard.
    And if you guys go to a forum, ask for help, and then say, "You guys are no help" then GOOGLE IT.
    Seriously. Some of us have been around the original GBAs (remember the GB Color, anyone? 8D), and know how to use them and what equipment is used to link.

    No, CoM is not for the DS. The DS was made so you could play the GBA games on it, but you can't link two GBA games.
    You need two GBAs and a link cable.
    And has anyone found out if this is even possible yet? O_o;;

    ok me and my friend did something wrong I guses or I did not have the packet that explained it. If the thing says it is possible then it is possible right?

    My brother figured it out without googling it or any thing. He said you might have to beat the game before you can do it. oh yeah go bro your smart
