Although the story is kinda cliched, with the whole "the hunter is now being hunted" deal, it does have some interesting characters and motives. The gameplay seems really original and fresh though. I love the memory collecting and the options you make in scenes, just wow. The world they built looks really gorgeous too. It's alive and deep. Thanks for sharing this, Libre.
Guess I was completely wrong in your other thread then. Excited to hear it's going to be for Xbox, and it does look like an interesting concept. Will definitely keep an eye on this.
It looks a lot like Assassin's Creed, just a bit better. After Dragon's Dogma I'll give some faith to Capcom about this being great.
Just read up on this not to long ago, I'm glad Capcom is doing something more original this time around. I'll keep an eye out for it.
When people say Capcom should make a Megaman game again, I usually agree, but this seems like it could have some potential.
I like listening to her voice...and pretty wings...anyway... The little details in the environment are some nice finishing touches to it I think that will make the game. Arrows showing where you going is put in with logic but I'm not sure how I feel about games with those...helps but finding out where to go is a nice accomplishment. That technology though. Neat. Seems like Mirror's Edge with the gameplay (while exploring at least) but in third person instead, which I like. I'm also obsessed with the concept of memories so that part of the story is nice, though it's disturbing to steal and mess around with them. Still, it's alluring. Seems like I'd stop to think about it while playing which is always a good thing as that draws inspiration. Graphics are fun to watch too. All in all... Adds to list of games I want to play.
http://www.siliconera.com/2013/05/3...tion-trailer-provides-a-prologue-to-the-game/ Live action trailer from the point of view of Antoine, the founder of Memorize. Captured girl in the trailer is Nilin of course.
After hearing a few comments about the previews, the combat is lack lustre and floaty, without any real feeling of contact when you hit. It also seems to be pretentious almost? Like the use of terms exclusive to the game, like Pressense or however it's spelt meaning 'moves', and I've seen an interview where the team have said that 'not everyone will get this game, it's not for everyone', which tells me they're expecting their story to be more vas than it will likely be. Also as nice as the world looks and the art style, the gameplay of navigating the world looks boringly linear without much variety, what's with the arrows to tell you where to jump? It seems so.... backwards for a game saying to be progressive and looks out of place in the world. I was looking forward to this being a hidden gem.... and then i saw more of it.
I don't like when games make live action videos It always look kinda silly .Like that one of God of war Ascention, that everybody was a person but Kratos; or that other over Xbox Reveal Quantum break. But I think I am the only one that thinks like that.
