Can someone clear something up on the rules for me?

    Okay, so the limit for signature pictures is 500 x 500 which comes out to 250,000 pixels, but would it be okay to have a picture that is 550 x 400 (220,000), is it the pixel count that matters (Just as long as it stays below 250,000) or can you not go above 500 period?

    If the sig is... say 500 x 300, then it should be acceptable. However, if the file size is over 500KB, then it won't be.

    Yeah, I know you can do that, but what about an image that is 550 x 400, It's lower then the pixel limit but i'm not sure if it's the pixel limit that matters, or if you just can't go past 500 period.

    I think the limit on both ends has to be 500 no matter what the other sides size is.
