can I use ps2 games as a swap trick on my fat ps2?

Hey guy's so can I use ps2 games as a swap trick on my fat ps2? If so would it work if I used a normal kh2 game and then swap it for a kh2fm back up? Also if any of this is possible how could I use codes with this trick?

 

I'm only vaugely familiar with how the swap trick works. To my knowledge what you need is for the first disk to have an option that sends you back to the root menu. You go to where that option is available, manually switch the disks (using disk eject makes the PS2 realize that it could be a new disk), and then activate the return to the root menu.

If I'm correct on this then you are actually likely to be better off with just the coder and not bothering with the Englsih game. However it is likely that swap magic does a bit more than that, in which case neither coder or English game would work.
