There are 3 games I want from GameStop Fatal Frame 1, 2, and 3 at 2 GameStops I go to (they both have all 3 games). THey have this thing called "Buy 2 pre-owned games get 1 free" deal and I want to buy them all (total of $60 + the free game). Fatal Frame 2 and 3 are M and Fatal Frame 1 is T. I've asked my brother and he said "Just as long as you have a current picture and a birth date your fine" but Im not really that sure. I recently got Silent Hill 3 (which is M) and they didn't ask for an I.D. but that could be because my dad was standing next to me or they just dont care. For my appearance I look 18+ when Im really 17 (probably doesn't matter but I'll point it out in case someone asks). Anyway, can I use my school I.D. to get the M games at GameStop? It has my picture and birth date on it.
M rated games are 17+ not 18. If they require for you to show ID then it's fine. Most people don't generally have a problem unless you are like 12-15 years old. They won't let you buy it unless you a parent with you.
Yeah M is 17+ so you should be able to do it... I get asked for an ID all the time because of my baby face, lol
You should be fine without an I.D. since M games are 17+, so if they ask for an I.D. it's just to make sure
I never tried, but I think it really depends on how old you are (No offense if you took offense on that statement). It's worth to try.
Depends on the exact clerk. I've had it happen where someone from an organization says a student ID is okay only for it to be denied when I get there. I don't picture this as being one where you are likely to get a stickler about gov IDs. Though is it in walking distance or do you need to drive? Because if you need to drive then just use the license of whoever is driving.
I didn't need an I.D. to buy an M game. But when I bought a frickin rated E game I needed an adult with me. :/ So I have no idea if that'll work.
No offence taken (Im 17 who looks 18 if you didn't read all of it) :) Its in walking distance because its like a 5 minute walk from my house. Now thats just plain weird.
I usually always make the assumption that they ask for ID. I don't think if a School ID will work, unless you have it as a photo ID and then something else proving your age. Dunno.
That would most likely work then, my High School only had our picture and the School year. As long as they know your birthday, and visual verification, I think you're good.
As Llave dear said,if it has those bits of information on it,you should be alright. That being said,while it would definitely count here in Ireland,I do not know for other countries. Try it I suppose. And hope for the best. <3
For most people who learn more from a visual perspective...Here All rating (even though you hardly see some) that are out in the world! As for using your School Identification, i'm not so sure, give it a shot, although i wouldent go around using it everywhere if it works, just sayin!
