Support Cable Box Issues

    So, I was watching The Golden Globes. After it was finished, I tried to change the channel, but the remote wouldn't respond. It did volume stuff, but nothing else. I tried turning the power on and off, but it only led to a black screen. I then unplugged the system and plugged it back in, but then the screen went blue, like it wasn't recovering any signal at all. Any advise.

    We're using an Xfinity cable box, which is a branch off of Comcast, if that helps any.

    Have you tried completely unplugging it and leaving it that way for about 15 minutes?

    The provider may also be doing maintenance.
