YOUR FRIENDS ARE ALL d e a d All TF2, all one artist. These have to be the funnest sources I've found yet. I mostly used this set to refine my technique, and I think I'm starting to develop a style I like now. Not to say there won't be the odd experiment, of course. CnC appreciated, especially on the four versions of the Spy - If you wanna pick out your favorite from those, it'd be a great help. Sources are all from one of two galleries on the above artist's profile, shouldn't be more than a few clicks away. If you want to use any of these, just ask first (Credit would also be appreciated).
I think this one is my favourite spy one (the dark and the glow : D) simply because the glow stands out more and it's pretty : D I think the ones without the glow look quite flat in comparison... looking at them now, I can't decide whether I prefer the dark or the light glow one... they are both beautiful in their own way O.o These are all lovely Nova, you have that beautiful negative, bright colour scheme down (I don't really know how to describe it, but like this one: Also, I love the stock you used xD it's brailliant and makes me want to use TF2 again) I don't have much CnC that I can give you as these are all lovely and you should keep it up :3 These ones have got to be my favourite simply because of the effects and colours used, they are simple yet beautiful: ... I want to go make avatars now xD
I agree with Ienzo with the soy :3 That ones my favorite xD it stands out more from the other to me. I don't have any CnC for you either. I love these style for avatars and I'm happy you found the right one for you! I can't wait to start editing again. Keep up the great work. :3
Nova, these are some of your best yet. c: I especially love these: The colors on these, as well as lighting and contrast, are all just so damn sexy. I love the lighting on all the spy icons, and you did good with this whole batch in general. I may just have to steal one or two of these in the future. c:
Thanks for the feedback y'all c: Glad these were well received, I put a lot of love into 'em. And yeah I guess the Luminosity layer didn't work so well for the Spyvatar. I was mostly concerned the glow would stick out and look bad because of the way I made it - All I did was splash some paint on his eye and tweak the layer properties. (If I knew a better way I'd use it >_>) Thought about trimming the light over the brim of the hat but I didn't want to over-edit.
