The forum itself would become worthless, but there would be a few members I liked.

I have been on many a forum like this. As soon as the rules get seriously questioned, they get enforced with an iron fist and no fun is allowed. People have to resort to other things for enjoyment. They can't post in any section without checking the rules first.

It's a very sad thing to see, but enforcement has definitely become more rampant in the past few weeks. If the staff seriously consider what you said to be the standard, then it won't be long before the most enjoyment anyone has is seeing a new announcement about the game series or an uprising.

khv had stricter rules in place years ago and the site had a lot of activity. A lot more than it has now. Folk are resorting to other things for enjoyment, but I don't see the staff's enforcing habits being one of them. It may be a factor for a few, but for most, I'd say they were bored with the site since there isn't much going on or they're no longer interested in kh. Probably both.
