I am in full support of the protestors and am deeply concerned at the lack of intervention by the international community. They aren't pushing China and India enough to get anything done.

The last time this happened over 3,000 people were killed. How long are people going to wait to intervene this time?

Burma has been a difficult place with strife for some time. People in the 80s had cleared out a former government, went to set in a more democratic one, and then the military went and took over crudely. Sadly, -oil- and other things are also in the deal here. It is very sad that the protesters are going through this, and I could wish that some of them would have the power to take down the leaders of that dictatorship that has been so rotten. With no way to communicate or do much of anything, those people are pretty well screwed. =:/
