No Thanks Bulletin Board Code in Thread and Post Titles

Would it be possible to implement this?

I think, though, to prevent abuse, and to keep bulletin board code from breaking the forum, there should be restrictions, such as not allowing links, images, and videos. Essentially, only basic things should be allowed, which would include bold, italic, and underlined font and colored text.

No, there are many reasons why this must not happen.

 

That's the reason I also provided suggestions on restrictions.

Here's my main concern. Try to imagine all boards, especially the spam zone, containing threads with titles of different fonts, colors and formatting options. It would be very hard for the eyes, up to the point that leaving the site would be a reasonable action, for me at least. Not to mention that it would seem very unorganized and not pretty at all.

 

Have to agree. Unnecessary imo, and just an overall eyesore.

 

Are you referring to size bulletin board code (which could be disabled) or bulletin board code in general (bold, italics, etc.)?

 

I dunno, I shut my brain off to cool down after typing a post. Maybe tomorrow I will know.
