I'm not sure if it's compatible -- if it is, though, great news! -- but I found an arcade add-on here.
I'm going to have to say no to this simply because it's still very much in an Alpha/Beta phase. While it could work, there are reported issues with it on both XF 1.1 and 1.2, and I'd just rather have a more stable release to work with in general.
Yeah, that's what I figured would be the response. :) However, it's the only one I could find. This can be rejected if you want or is this sort of approved, but it will have to wait until it's stable?
I've been watching this add-on since before the alpha release because I know the arcade was a very popular feature and I'd really like to bring it back. The version you linked has been in development hell for a long time now, which is why I have not installed it. However, the development was recently taken over by xfrocks (who is a very reputable and high quality developer for XenForo), so development should pick up again some time. I have no idea when a more stable version will be out but it's at least good news.
I don't mind waiting for perfection. C: I miss the arcade, and like misty said it was very damn popular. Yes please. D:
I miss my temporary spot in the top three. I had some glory back in the day. Honestly I didn't care much for the arcade. It was fun sure but not an integral part of the forum. I could easily go to one of many game sites to play flash games, not to mention the games were mostly standard. While it was fun to compete with others it wasn't very attractive ... aside from the competition. Plus Jiku pretty much held all the records >_> I personally don't see the need to add this to the site even if it does come out with a stable release for 1.(2/3). I also believe it encourages users to stray away from the forums and be less active in posting (outside the Spamzone). I'm not sure how it would respond to the sites hosting resources but I could only imagine it would increase usage. I personally am going to say no because I don't see many upsides other than getting to say "suck it" to other members when you win a tournament. Honestly I'm like meh. If it gets added that's cool, if not that's cool too. I'm just not seeing the upsides. -Snow Queen

So everyone knows I do follow the development closely. Because we're a larger board I won't be installing any alpha or beta versions, but as stated, the Dev that has taken over is very good. Our pins add-on is made by him
