So it looks like the PlayStation's slogans are all turning blue for a change in branding directions.

Not really a surprise. Blue and Black have always been the PS colors, right?

Yeah they have, I remember my little cousin had a blue PS2 Slim (I think)
I personally can't see myself playing a blue Ps3 or Vita, I'd prefer red tbh.

It's only the slogan, right? Not the physical machine?

No, it's everything. The system, the controllers, and I believe the memory cards, too.

Oh, that makes less sense. Well, I still support it, if it's a darker blue than the one they have a picture of. I would enjoy a wider variety of colors, where Blue could be one of the choices. However, I would rather have it more Navy blue than that type of blue.

I thought they were Red, Green, and Yellow? (PS1)
Or maybe they never had a color to begin with.

I think I'd kinda like it better with blue. I just like blue better than red.
And yes, that's seriously my reason. And actually I think I'd like using a blue controller

That was the color of the logo, so you're right there. However, if memory serves me right, the loading screen was blue. I know that the PS2 loading screen and the logo was blue.

Now that makes sense. Hmm... I guess the logo cant really represent the color. I like blue anyway so its fine.

I agree, it's not a very nice color...
But no, it shouldn't be the systems, only the brand.

Aw, Sony, c'mon. You're ruining the RGB color balance here! Nintendo has always been blue, Sony's been red and Microsoft was green.

I remember that that the box of my first PS2 (which I still have and can take photos of) was dark blue. So overall, I don't really see much of a problem here. Wasn't it the PS3 that made the colour black anyway? The PS1 was grey and the PS2's logo was blue. It seems they're changing it up for each generation.

Meh, well originally the PS was like Red, Yellow, Greenish and the Playstation itself was gray. Then PS2 kind of set the motion of the blue and black.

I have noticed they use a lot of blue with the vita. Not entirely surprising though, I've always associated blue with Playstation as green is with XBox.
