The past few chapters have angered me to nearly no end. Spoiler I really don't care what happens to Ichigo's friends. I REALLY don't. Kubo should answer the hundreds of questions he has been making up with these chapters, and stop continuing a plot line, which I nearly class as filler. Otherwise, the manga is pretty good and the anime has really been portraying these fights well. All in all, Its gotta be my favorite series.
I'm starting to get pissed off about how a comic-relief character, Omeada, get's more screen time than the main character himself. I actually like Ichigo, I think he's pretty awesome, it's just a shame that he never does anything, except for maybe a thing or two in filler seasons. I swear to god if he doesn't get to fight the big bad I will be pissed. Other than that I like the show though, has some pretty nice characters. I only watch the anime btw.
Spoiler In a way, it kind of does matter what happens to Ichigo's friends, in my opinion. If Aizen really does something to them(in order words, kill them) Ichigo will lose it and attack Aizen, that is if he doesn't hurry the hell up with his training and go to Karakura Town. B| The last few chapters have been a little...eh. But I am eager to know what happens in the next one that's coming out. Spoiler The only thing that I'm pretty much eager about is seeing what Gin has planned. He seems so out of it compared to every other time he was shown. He's definitely hiding something and I want to know what it is. And hopefully Rangiku is okay. ._. In the last chapter, she was bleeding from her mouth and she looked dead. There was also this mark near her neck or something. Don't know if it's blood or not, but she was bleeding from her mouth so I'm assuming it is.
The latest chapters have been kinda ehh I guess. It's good to at least know what happened with Ichigo's friends but I really want to know how Ichigo's battle with Zangetsu and his Inner Hollow is going. He's got enough time to train. Remember that he has a little over 3 months to train while Aizen only has an hour to destroy the town before Ichigo can get there.
Ah you'd love the manga. I agree that ichigo is awesome simply because he isn't trying to purge himself of evil, he accepts his evil i.e. his hollow side.
I think the story really does need to pick up some pace. Bleach has a reoccurring theme of not moving from a spot for tons of episodes. Heck, the latest few arcs seem to all be one big thing if you had never classed them as arcs before. Either way, I do like a lot of the characters of Bleach but it's just far too slow. DBZ was like this but at least DBZ had good fights no matter how long they where (they did stretch them out a bit but at least it was fighting and not panning shots of "O faces"). I've come to prefer Fairy Tail to Bleach recently though since Fairy Tail actually gets through arcs fairly quickly while keeping constant action, drama and comedy on the go while Bleach seems to juggle between them and drag things out for as long as possible without doing much. A guy I knew in college had a fit about how long Spoiler Kenpachi was fighting the 5th Espada and I can see what he means, but on a larger scale. Either way, it's still entertaining which is the main thing xD
Oh yeah I definitly agree with him on how long that fight was it just never stopped, seriously, I think it took like 20 episodes from they started fighting till he was defeated. It didn't help with all the filler in the episodes, like 5 minutes recaps and showing the same scenes twice, etc. I'd still agree though, no matter how much flack I give this series I always look forward to the next episode, it's very entertaining.
Read the manga. So far the best thing the episodes have given me is the filler Starrk fights. Anyways... Spoiler I'm waiting for Ryuken and Tessai to show up. If they aren't in Karakura Town, then one or the other is probably in Hueco Mundo helping the two fan-armored captains fight Yammy. I find it rather sad that people say that Aizen is trolling the captains(not saying that people say it here). What do they expect? Aizen is basically GOD in this manga. Spoiler I'm kinda thinking whatever chance Gin had of possibly standing a chance at getting a good backstab is over and gone now. Aizen would crush any attack Gin throws at him, Bankai or not.
I would but I have no imagination, so I without the music, sound effects and voice acting. I'd have no idea what was going on, and when it's in black and white I can barely tell characters apart.
Actually, I've just thought of something absolutely pathetic but it is a possibility considering how Kubo loves making things up on the spot (or so I heard). Spoiler We've not seen Aizen's Bankai right (I don't read the manga so I don't know)? What if Aizen's Bankai was the only thing that could stop him, in a sense of irony? And/or that releasing his Bankai would put him at a disadvantage? And/or that the heroes or whoever the hell his facing him from the massive cast somehow used his Bankai's power against him? Pathetic but possible, hopefully the thought never occurs to Kubo xD
CORRECTION! Kubo doesn't make things up on the spot. He just trolls the fandom. There's a very big difference between the two. But I'm thinking that Aizen's Bankai has to be something that puts a big strain on him since he has never once resorted to using it even against Yamamoto, the one person who could defeat him, so I'm thinking it has a certain consequence to using it.
*bump bump bump* OK, so here is my burning question... How does everyone feel about this new filler arc in the Anime, and the new story arc in the Manga? I am starting warm up to the filler arc because its similar to the bounts in the sense that it is happening "between" the official story arcs. (unlike that captain whatever his name is or the zanpaktuo tales or whatever) As for the manga...I don't know if I am digging it yet, its kinda slow and its still early...but yea Thoughts?
Well the new Filler Arc is good so far which kinda makes it similar to Fade to black but everyone retains their memories this time around, plus Ichigo won't spam Bankai much since it accelerates him losing his powers which is actually a good restrictive plot to let other characters have their moments if it happens, I just hope the animation studo doing this won't stop after Ichigo's lost all of his power and continue into the Fullbring arc sicne Katekyo Hitman Reborn ended when Byakuran was defeated but the manga's still ongoing.
Oh the Anime will keep going, Its one of the top Animes in Japan they aren't gonna let it go quietly. Honestly, I wish Bleach would have ended with the end of the last arc, I feel like it was set up in a way that allows Spoiler Aizen to come back. He was beaten to easily (I thought) and it was kinda stupid how these Humans with powers just showed up...It makes sense for Chad and Orihime cause now we know what they are but still.... I am worried this arc wont be as good as the arc that took up most of the last 200 episodes...or so....
I think the new arc is really starting to pick up pace especially in the last chapter. Plus there is an added tension because the battles are alot more different simply because they are using real life flesh and blood instead of spirit bodies meaning that people can't take big buster moves repeatedly.
Bumpity bump? I know the title is 2010, but it's only three pages into the forum. No need to make a new one. Anyway, for those who don't know, Hell Chapter (the movie) is out on bleachget, though I'm pretty sure it isn't subbed yet. However, the beginning supposedly contains an extended Ulquiorra vs. Ichigo fight that will make you jizz in your pants and, even without the translation, the movie is pretty awesome. On to the main reason that I'm bumping the hell out of this thread. Spoilers for those behind in the manga, specifically the Lost Substitute Shinigami Arc: Spoiler Ginjo was the first Substitute Shinigami? I mean, it was so obvious but I still didn't see it coming. I thought he had simply taken the badge after Tsukishima killed the Shinigami. But now I'm curious as to his past (AIZEN MANIPULATED HIM INTO QUITTING AS A SHINIGAMI AND PLOTTED THIS WHOLE THING CENTURIES AGO, I BET YOU), he has the similar form Ichigo did when he completed his Fullbring. I'm thinking that's like the Shinigami version of a complete Fullbring. Like you get that form by being a Shinigami/Fullbring hybrid. I'm pissed they didn't have a Ichigo/Zangetsu moment inside of Ichigo's mind. Or even acknowledge his Zanpakuto. Can Ichigo hear him? Interact with him? Feel him? What about Ogichi/White Ichigo/Hollow Ichigo? Is he back, along with Ichigo's powers? Is Ichigo still a Vizard? Does he still have Bankai? Will he keep his Fullbring form/Regain it? Will he have abilities of the other Captains/Vice Captains (Doubt this one)? What's with his new uniform; is it modded to be more like a Captain's/vice Captain's? THE QUESTIONS NEED TO BE ANSWERED.
Spoiler And I bet you none of them will... I figure the new uniform comes from how his powers have evolved thanks to the Fullbring training (I mean, notice how his new shinigami uniform is still a little similar to his Fullbring costume). As for the meeting with old-man Zangestu, we can hope that they'll leave that part out for after the fight, though we know how Kubo likes to leave his fans guessing (that *******). At this point I just want the series to have a fitting ending. It's been a good ride, but enough is enough. I'll admit I'm looking forward to seeing the amped Tensa Zangetsu, though.
Spoiler I had read the latest chapter, 460, when it came out. I must admit, i am not a fan at all of the new Zangetsu. (looks like the child of Zangetsu and Squall's Gunblade...) and i don't really dig the wristbands and the chestband. (if thats what you could call it...) Rukia's new doo looks alright... but i really like the new looks of Renji, Byakuya, Toshiro, Kenpachi, and Ikkaku. (just look at my sig, that's them, i just colored it like Kubo-sensei:)) I feel like Ginjo is useless at this point, he got poned by a simple air slash, not even Getsuga tensho. And then he's about to get skrewed by Getsuga Tensho... hmm. I thought he was connected to Aizen in someway, however, i am uncertain of any possiblilities at this point. I'm just gonna sit back, relax, wait for the next chapter, and hope things spice up like the old school Bleach. I honestly have no idea what's up with Kubo-sensei, he's usually boss! I love his work, and he is the inspiration for me to create manga as well. My friend thought maybe he's working on something else, and it's a secret.... but who knows? I also thought that the Fullbring Arc could've actually been a whole new manga. It's because we have never heard or seen anything like it and it seems so foreign in Bleach. It's almost like he pulled it out of his ***...
