Help Blank Editor When Attempting to Edit a Post

Self-explanatory title.

According to Wikipedia, Mozilla Firefox 23.0 was released on August 6, but I had 22.0 all the way until this morning when it automatically updated to 23.0.1.

Could the update be the culprit?

The issue seems to be only on KH-Vids, as I was able to edit my post here on XenForo Community without issues.

 

Looks like it's an issue with XenForo 1.1.5 or below on Mozilla Firefox 23, as I experience the same issue on DOTATalk, which is also running XenForo 1.1.4.

I've submitted a bug report.

 

Don't bother submitting a bug report because it won't be addressed. It's because we're on an outdated version of Xenforo, which they won't be submitting any fixes for.

I have the problem too. For now, you can just click more options and edit the post that way while we work on updating to 1.2.

Just wanted to say that my bug report was followed up by Bugzilla staff a while ago after I said I was retracting it, and it looks like the problem was found. I think now waiting is just needed to see if it can be fixed.

 

I thought I'd mention that this is an issue only in Mozilla Firefox. In Google Chrome it works fine.

I switched to Google Chrome when getting online today just for a change, but if you're annoyed about having to keep going through More Options, you can use Google Chrome until KH-Vids upgrades to XenForo 1.2.x and the editor changes from TinyMCE to Redactor.

Every time I go to edit my post regardless about which browser I'm using when clicking edit it doesn't do anything, I click edit and the editing window doesn't appear and I can't edit my posts, this has happened more that one occasion and it doesn't work no matter what browser I'm using I could be using firefox and still this issue occurs, then I would try it in chrome and STILL it occurs. Dx does anyone else experience this or is it only happening to me? frankly its driving me ****ing nuts, can someone tell me is this is a browser issue or if its a internal issue with the actual site?

I'm having issues with just even accessing the post editor and also accessing others profiles, could this be part of the same issue amaury reported if so its a real pain in the but, hope it gets fixed soon.=|

 

When you click Edit, what do you get?

I get nothing it doesn't do ****, and it does it to me on both firefox and chrome not just firefox alone.=/

looks like its working now, my problem has been resolved now so no need for anymore assistance with the issue I was having.=)
