Birth by Sleep Birth by sleep melding is being wonky

I want to meld Glacier, but my game wont let me meld my lvl 5 deep freeze.
Halp.

 

check to see if the ability that melds with Deep Freeze is also leveled up enough as well. that's the only thing i can think of.

 

You need other commands that can be melded with glacier , also the other command must be levelled up to max.

 

Once very important tip when you want to meld: Always make sure that the commands you are using are leveled up to their full potential, this means you must use them until they're complete. I learned this...the hard way.

Here are the two recepies, both are for Aqua only:
Deep Freeze command (lv5) + Blizzaga (lv4)
Triple Blizzaga (lv4) + Deep Freeze (lv5)
