Bill Farmer; the Voice actor who plays Goofy, has made recent tweets that he has finished recording his lines for Kingdom Hearts III and that we may be expecting it sometime this year! He has made numerous replies to fan speculation and seems fairly confident in his word that we can expect the long awaited title in 2015.

This may be nothing, but it seems we may be expecting more KH3 news sooner than we think. If not the game, we can at least expect plenty of updates in the near future!

I wouldn't get my hopes up honestly. He says he's been recording lines for the past few years, and I'm pretty sure he was referring to Goofy's lines in 3D and the Re:coded scenes in 2.5. Plus, the fact that FFXV is getting a lot of coverage lately (unlike KH3) and still has no definite release date yet, I'm pretty sure KH3 won't be released in 2015.

I'm not confident in this at all. As much as I would like it to be true, it just seems way too soon. Last time they told us they were still pretty early in development, and I don't see this coming before FF XV.

Besides is...Bill really supposed to be giving out info like this? ._.

Looking at his twitter page, it seems that he's backpeddling on his comments a bit. He said he was done, but he also said that they could call him in for additional lines at any time. He also says that they may change the release date at any time, so he doesn't really seem as confident in his statements. Probably did this to get more twitter followers.

False alarm, people. You can put away your wallets/hopes.

Seems kind of iffy to me. What threw me off was his comment of only doing the audio first and they animate later. That is done in animation, but Kingdom Hearts is a different animal all together since it's adapted from a foreign country, where it was already made. The only kind of animation that is done when they adapt the game is probably with the mouth flaps (and minor edits here and there)

Don't they usually have to sign NDAs while they're working on something though?

It's possible that Square-Enix might be aiming for a simultaneous worldwide release--not unlike with Pokemon X and Y--or at least something very close to one. I'd think it probable, even, considering how important KHIII has become.

Interesting comments from Mr. Farmer, though. I guess we'll have to wait and see just how accurate his comments are, but I'll admit I'm a little skeptical of a release in 2015 for KHIII. FFXV in 2015, though, I can see more realistically.

And Square-Enix themselves have officially commented on this whole fiasco:

This is one of those things that first give me a humongous ammount of hope before dashing it completely... Looks like he's still a bit unsure.

      WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

^ this is basically what I was getting at. I was under the impression that VAs, while working on projects, were under some sort of gag order or something. At least with things like this pertaining to the release. Squeenix probably went off on him with those tweets, hence their acknowledgement and his backpeddling.

It is if you are working on multiple things at once and if your company name is "Square Enix"
