Kingdom Hearts II Best place to level in KH2FM?

They took the best place to level in KH2FM away at the Pride Lands. There is only 1 air thruster thing there now. :/ This is on proud mode btw.

Cavern of Remembrance/Transport to Remembrance. If that's too hard, sweep The World That Never Was over and over again.

 

I can't really do TWTNW yet because I can't beat Roxas, I always have trouble guarding him. The lowest I've gotten his HP is I think 2 little green rectangles, that's it. I'm doing Yen Sid's tower atm.

Transport to remembrance, if that's too hard, then just go to the first area of cavern of remembrance, theres loads of enemies, as well as a save point 1 area away. If in doubt, or it doesn't work for you, use Limit Form's Limits. Or even resort to Trinity if needed.

 

Remember, Gullwing + EXP Boost + Critical Health quadruples your EXP gain.

 

Rofl were the ammount of air thrusters deliberately removed because of the level up trick?

 

Yen sid's tower is the best place currently.
And when you can, do train in Transport to Remembrance, the Nobodies there are stronger than the ones in TWTNW, and they give the same EXP, but they're aways there, no need to enter the gummy ship or reset to make them re-appear.

The EXP you get from the Heartless is extremely low, not worth the trouble unless he wants to Synthsome acessory from the Absent Silhouettes.

Not really, they still appear, but you can't use HP boost + gullwing now since they drop HP orbs.

 

I am doing that, but I always seem to get cheap shotted by him. I can probably get it down to where I get his keyblades, but then eventually I die, sometimes even before that. I just about mastered guarding against him (and Marluxia too :p) but I still get killed by him. (also, I have noticed Reflega stuns him so I can do 2 combos, I also have quick run and the air jump thing from wisdom and master, but it's still pretty hard). Beating Roxas is pretty easy with Level 99/Strength/Defence, barely had any trouble.

Also for roxas just spam limits on him when hes open thats how i beat him.

 

Wait, do you have Dodge Roll? Sure it doesn't have much range like Quick Run, but it makes you invincible for a bit.

To use guard break you musn't be pointing the joystick toward Roxas, just don't point it anywhere, then press O quickly.

Use 1 Ground combo +, without negative combo.

I suggest you do this method - When he does his first move, reflect him, and continue spamming O until you finish 2 FINISHERS. Don't do more than that, otherwise you'll get hit badly.

Reset your combo, then reflect his contering slash towards you, and redo.

This way is pretty good until he starts using his lasers, and the dual blade spinny thing.

When he does his quick hit combo (with or without lasers), you have two options:

Firstly, use retaliating slash (needs to be timed nearly perfectly, any second which is late might block it, but you get sent flying to the other side)

Or, you aerial recover as fast as you can, and use reflect instead. this method is far easier. Make sure all your combo's are on the ground, this gives you a chance to react.

Sorry for the double post, but just a bump. His double keyblade attack always kills me if I ever get him down to 2 HP bars left.

 

That's Counterguard. Press O during a successful block with Guard.

And yeah, you have to level Limit Form for Dodge Roll.
